Can you be laid off if you’re on or plan on going on disability?

I am curious I have accounts in Fidelity and Vanguard that were there before I joined schwab. I had to move everything to schwab my wife's accounts, my personal accounts, my kids accounts etc. Does it make sense to move it back if I am laid off.
