It is a coping mechanism, right? It helps "us" deal with it and have a few laughs in an unfortunate situation. If you are not a troll, feel free to join in a troll post but know this...When the layoffs do start happening this board is either going to light up...or hopefully it will go quiet while people find peace and move on.

I have already complained to HR about this prejudice against trolls. It is not a safe workplace for us.
@sfv+1p2fNzcx the fact we (myself included) have to come to an anonymous internet forum for information on huge news that is going to effect the lives of thousands of people and an entire organization's trajectory says a lot more about the company than the trolls.
you can be angry at the trolls (i know i have been once or twice) but ensure that anger is just being displaced on them rather than the real trolls which is EC and senior leader ship. sadly they will never know the full frustration, stress, anxiety and myriad of other issues they have caused by bungling this entire situation in a spectacular way.
trolls gonna troll. and until we get something concrete from the org (which wont happen till day of) we are gonna have to pay the troll toll to get any info...even if it is 100% speculative
