In 2013 71 were cut in Des Moines area ... This was back in October. Around 1000 were let go in June / July time frame

Things are in motion at WF right now, SF will be hit in Q1 and this time we'll all be able to notice it

WF's Minneapolis cuts back this summer were the largest layoffs in Minnesota this year - I think 2300 people were cut in our Home Mortgage division - that's a very big blow to our local economy.

It seems like there is a potential job cuts, but it's unclear how much Wells Fargo needs to rightsize to adjust to the new normal.

So I hear that another 1000 folks will be let go before mid Jan 2014 - any confirmations here from Wells Fargo folks?
