People are quitting

They are leaving on their own with no severance and some with no job waiting for them, in this economy! Just think about that for a moment. Think how bad a workplace must be for somebody to decide to leave with no guarantee of finding a new job any... — read more

CEO Pay

Thought you all would like this one I am actively wondering why I still work here. Add this together with all the new extremely high paid senior managers and it’s a definite boondoggle for the few well connected. All the rest of the peasants can... — read more

Close any WF accounts after leaving

after I received my severance, WF said they paid me too much and I owe them money. I asked for proof and they had none. I was having trouble finding another job so I paid the amount. It took them 4 months and 25 hours on the phone to change the "... — read more

Employee Relations Investigations

How can this be right? I am part of an investigation as part of retaliation accusation and the ER investigator told me my direct report was interviewed and shared the details of what was said. Are they that terrible that they disclose that?? I hate... — read more

What are the odds?

Given the need to reduce expenses does anyone think there is a chance they ask for volunteers to get a severance package? I know of a few companies that in the same position offered those over 50 or 55 the option to leave with a package.

Overstaffed Agile teams

I can easily tell that the new agile strategy by itself made teams overstaffed. What I mean by that is a team consisting of 3 software engineers 1 QA analyst 3 business analyst 2 scrum masters 2 product owners 1 tech analyst. At times it looks... — read more

Blast from the past

Longer-term employees will remember this. Back in 2014, a Wells Fargo employee sent a letter to John Stumpf asking for a raise for all employees. The outstanding part was that he cc’d in 200,000 employees and it made the news. The letter is in the... — read more

Thoughts on what happens to bonus structure?

Does it stay the same? Does Charlie look at the percentages for the so called rank-and-file (yes, that includes you, middle management) and pump the brakes? It's no secret that Wells pays out better bonuses than the competition. I know because I... — read more

MRP/Midpoint

Saw it mentioned in another thread that the MRP/midpoint is more like the max salary. Is that generally true across the bank? I'm a recent hire and was given the midpoint on the job posting. I'm already thinking about leaving and this may just... — read more

Have I been Demoted?

I was an ASE5. Now I'm a "Software Engineer". Huh...? A "Software Engineer"...? That isn't even CLOSE to what I do. They also gave me the title of AVP. When I asked what exactly THAT means, I was told "they can get rid of you easier if... — read more

U.S.-India Outsourcing Economy

Laid off people are the lucky ones

I'd give anything to leave this hellhole with a severance - even if it's not that much. Even if it's just enough to last me until I find a new job. What I'm scared of is being fired - and I see more and more of that each day. They're too stingy to... — read more

Chances of being displaced.

With all the people who are saying they got a 3 or lower, I wonder if that will be used in part to determine who is displaced. With the exception of the years where we didn't have a actual rating, I have received a 4 every year (meets/exceeds). Any... — read more

Spans And Layers Decisions in Risk are Totally UnFair

How far into 2020?

I’m sure they want to get as many people off of payroll by year-end as possible, but assuming that’s not likely. Anyone know if there’s a deadline for 2020 displacements?

Culture getting worse not better!

This culture is getting far worse than it is better. Do you agree? This place is beyond disrespectful and unreasonable. They don't care one iota how their decisions and demands land on people. I have never seen so many upset and p-ss-d off people... — read more
