Workday compensation section

Why do some people already have a future date for the end of the month posted in there suggesting they will be getting a pay change, but some people don't have anything showing for 2022?

The Warren-Biden Bank Heist

A coup at the FDIC breaks norms and signals more political control of finance. Elizabeth Warren finally got her woman—that is, the Senator and her many acolytes in the Biden Administration have succeeded in ousting Jelena McWilliams as chair of the... — read more

Layoffs, notice and bonuses (Question)

If you are laid off in January, or put in your notice prior to 02/04 bonus payout, will you still get a bonus? Asking because I am not sure what the practice is there...

So long PTO

Anyone else notice the hard change on the PTO system? It used to accrue at the beginning of the year and now with the implementation of workday they have updated policy to enforce a monthly accrual system. Every month you will receive 1/12 of your... — read more

Offboarding?

I voluntarily left WF in early December. No exit interview, no info on returning equipment, no info from HR on benefit transitions, and no word on my final paycheck. Is this normal?

Anyone seen a new severance plan?

Updated handbook changed all references to be “severance” vs “salary continuation” and says that we should reference the benefits book for details. However, I can’t find any details about what it is. Am I missing it?

Branch closed

Has anyone worked for a Wells Fargo branch that closed? If so did you have to work out of a different branch or did you receive severance?

Really sad what’s happening in Branches

Front line workers for Wells are being pushed to the end. Non stop positive covid cases in branches and even if a person reports they were in close contact with another, management doesn’t care, just report to work and hope for the best. Two TMs died... — read more

Wells Fargo Workday A Mess

Wells Fargo HR forget currently inactive/displayed employees as we did not receive email notification to setup password access Workday. Calling HR takes over five hours on hold and when asked about the Workday login issues, they sound irritated... — read more

New Pay Ranges

Hey has anyone noticed we can’t see new pay ranges yet? Not sure if this has been discussed at all yet.

Workday - Don't see all the job posting yet?

I am unable to see all the jobs posted under career section on Workday. Any idea when all the jobs will be available to checkout? Related question - Someone had asked about pay range, where can we find this information in Workday (like we used in... — read more

Who else got implicitly demoted today?

Was a manager, not I’m an associate manager There goes my upward progression at least from an outside hiring manager’s point of view How much will this hurt both negotiating leverage and even making it in the door for a first interview? — read more

Well... it's back!

Although my workplace accommodation status still isn't updated on the Our Workplace page - the verbiage regarding being allowed to remain at home while the accommodation is set up (which disappeared last month) is back now. Sure would be nice if the... — read more

New Job Titles

For the new job titles-If everyone on my team was an ORC 4, how did we all map over differently? Some are now senior, some are now lead. Everything I read said Managers did not have the ability to change competency levels for each employee and that... — read more

Unable to work due to broken disk encryption update

Long story short I have been unable to work the past 2 weeks because they pushed out an update to disk encryption on the 20th of December that broke my laptop. I called the helpdesk and they opened a ticket and assigned it out to some other group. I... — read more

workday crashing

Workday and Hire Dates

I suggest checking your electronic personal file on workday. Mine shows a 2009 hire date which is off by 14 years. (Maybe it’s the Wachovia merger date) but I submitted a request to have it changed as it’s incorrect.

First major layoff of the year

Who wants to bet we'll have the first major layoff of 2022 before this month is over? I'd go as far as to say that we could be looking at something major as soon as next week. Wells Fargo has never shied away from starting the year with cuts, I don't... — read more

Unionize. Whose up for it?

White collar employees need to unionize. Even if you don't technically need a union, (and let's be honest, most of us do), we need to show solidarity with all workers. https://www.opeiu.org/ Office and Professional Employees International Union was... — read more

Kind of an ominous RTO email tonight

Telling staff not even to go in voluntarily. I'm guessing cases are exploding across the compay and that we wont be able to staff key areas while people are out sick.

Begging to stay

In the recent IT townhall for consumer lending, CIO- Rider begged people not to quit after bonuses are paid. I think there is scarcity of IT resources in the market.

The wrong employees are being let go/resigning

By and large the employees in charge at Wells Fargo are lazy, inept, self-centered, cliquish, delusional as to their importance/worth lousy excuses of human beings. The addition of Wachovia added East coast arrogance to the mix. It is absolutely... — read more

Happy New Year,

to all of the WF employees who have made it through another year of ups and downs. Personally, it was actually pretty good in that none of my department was let go. Cheers!

Didn't get laid off in 2021

Don't know what the future holds, but happy I didn't get displaced from WF in 2021.
