56 and looking for a job

I'm constantly being lowballed to the point that it's becoming ridiculous. Is this due to the current state of the job market or is it an age thing? I'm getting more and more discouraged each day and my worry about being laid off has skyrocketed due... — read more

Survey Reminder —> DON’T TAKE IT reminder

I recently received my first reminder from HR and then another from management on the same day. I’ll count that as one. Turnabout is fair play. Every reminder should yield a contra-reminder that not taking it is the strongest response you can... — read more

Imagine the savings if they cut 50% of the managers

Most of them are well into the six figure range and directly responsible for the so called "inefficiencies" we're subjected to on a daily basis given the constant shifting priorities and wasteful work. They clearly don't have the competance to... — read more

Tracy Kerrins - AI Guru?

I am not familiar with this woman, but I saw that she is leading Consumer Tech and Gen AI. As an aspiring data scientist, I get asked a lot of algo questions, do special projects and present results during interviews. Even my code being reviewed... — read more

Too long in WF

I’ve spent ten years in WF. I don’t exactly regret it. It was a period in my life when I needed a steady job and not be bothered with anything work-related. I didn’t even care about having a progressing career, and yet, over those ten years I was... — read more

I Need Advice on RTO requirements

I will try to keep this as short and vague as possible... When the RTO requirement for my team was implemented (3x a week unless 4 hours of PTO in a day, holiday policies, no req. on # of hours) I admittedly dragged my feet. My role can be done 100%... — read more

Why/How is Scharf still the CEO?

Stock price hasn't moved since the day he started. Roughly $54 back then and now, which with inflation means the value is less than it was 5 years ago. (B of A's price is up 11% compared to 5 years ago.) So really, declined stock price, no consent... — read more

India Employees Reporting to US LOB

Employee survey and Denise
