Layoffs don't impact India Sites ?

I assume since India labour is cheap .. layoffs don't impact India sites. They are still hiring on selective basis. Anyone from US who wants to relocate should be able to do it easily !! But I have heard work environment is not that great :-( !!

I know they announced all the Q candidates were re-elected - but what was the final vote tally ? We know SM and PJ were among the lowest vote getters immediately before the postponed the whole thing then booted AVGO.

More coming. business’s will be sold off. Qualcomm will right the ship by selling off the non profitable businesses/technologies. Also, QTL better get a bit cut. They are a major part of the problem.

Next Lay off date last week of July

They let go at least 1200 globally. This is before NXP acquisition. Overlapping position will be eliminated after acquisition in November. Hopefully that’s last big lay off of the year.
