I’m laid off so I don’t care anymore. Very disappointed but I will move on.

I sense that a crashing stock priced timed with a PJ buyout maybe coming up.

Maybe they know already that China won't approve the takeover - then they should pay $2B to the company they wanted to buy. After the earnings call they can say "we give up now" and pay $2B now and save 1 quarter waiting time. They could stop the current crash by massive buybacks but they are not repurchasing, who knows? Crashed stocks could be used as excuse to terminate the deal ("$110 or $127,5 now too expensive for me!!"). And they could announce something else today with a new strategy...

It might be worth checking whether both stocks have a high correlation in the last months - it's because both rise and slide together. If N has a good growth target because of Automotive why is it crashing together with QCOM?
