Seems Wisconsin and Louisville were hit hard

I was not laid off and feel for those who do. I can only dpeak to the hcm rn role as that is what I am. 10 contacts a day is reasonable and can be done in a normal work day. I take lunches and breaks and use my wellness time consistently. I see a lot... — read more
Humana Finance Department
Surprise layoffs - no one knows for sure but it was rumored to be 20% of staff in headquarters. Management found out yesterday and had to tell associates all day today. Big team meeting has been called. Media was not notified.
Outsourcing
What most are failing to mention is that any lay offs were told months ago that their departments were being outsourced. Just today two areas who had been told prior where given May 1st as the final date that the full outsourcing would take place. No... — read more
Have there been layoffs of RN HCMs with HAH? Heard RNs might not be laid off, honestly I am tired of the stress and unattainable metrics.
Yes, I am looking and it is very sad how things have changed, no longer able to really help members and make a difference in their health. Time to be a nurse again and feel good about myself.
Only 20% probability of Bankruptcy for Human-uhhhhhhh!

HAH Life Expectancy
I have seen several health insurance companies with programs similar to HAH. They all have failed. This program is on it's failure. Long lived management leaving. Quarterly lay offs. If anyone thinks they have stability here they are mistaken. I can... — read more
New trainings expected to be done on weekends without pay

So MC is out? I'm sure she was forced to retire. Heads are starting to roll at the top.
My last day can't come soon enough
I have never worked for a company that did a 180 degree turn like Humana. When I started over 3 yrs ago we were told to build a rapport with mbrs and working with some of the same mbrs continously I did. I told everyone I loved my job. Then they... — read more

SW to do RN's jobs????????
SW to do RN's job???? How and why? SW are not clinically trained. Such disservice to the Mbrs! Ridiculous.
Safe?
I wonder what positions or departments are 'safe" through all these changes, layoffs, repositions and restructuring?
Quarterly layoffs
I am hearing rumors that there will be quarterly layoffs for the remainder of the year.
Confirmation of layoffs?
Someone mentioned in a post that "east coast teams" were laid off Monday....anyone know what they were referring to?
