Thread regarding Humana Inc. layoffs

Anyone trying to stay with HAH or SNP?

I applied to some jobs but did not even get an interviews, so I decided to stay with Humana because of the money and I like working from home. I am hoping things will get better. Anyone else trying to stick this out?

I am not able to stay any longer. I didn't get a master's degree to work in a Humana factory. It is a disgrace that profits are more important than people. What will happen when the middle class can no longer afford their medical care?

I absolutely hate my position sitting on my behind all day is not my thing. As soon as I get a call I'm out. You may wonder why did I apply long story and I don't want to disclose my identity.

I am sticking it out. I need the job, the pay is decent, WAH is a great perk, I don't have the energy to start over just yet... plus I am so so so lucky despite all the BS going on higher up I have a wonderful amazing coach. Plus great team mates. SOOOOO yea the pros outweigh the cons. Although I DO look for other jobs elsewhere and if something called to me.. yes I would go for it....

I am in a similar situation that I have applied for several jobs without success yet. I am still here but this is only temporary. Working at HAH is what I do to pay the bills; my JOB is to find a position that I love elsewhere.

HAH HCCP has RNs for their telephone care management of Health Challenged, Functionally Challenged, and High Severity levels of intervention (LOI). PHCs are managing the At Risk members, as far as I know. HCCP has had waves of member movement long before the recent changes and layoffs. The most recent change is that all North Carolina members are moving out of Southeast region. Keep in mind that there are many members waiting on the priority rosters to go to a permanent roster right now. Our coverage team manages these members until the member gets assigned to a RNs roster. If someone has other info about HCCP, please comment.

HCCP is managed by licensed and non licensed care managers, do any stay healthy care managers have licenses- SNP requires a licensure I believe. I wonder what is coming next for PHCs?

I am hoping to stay as well, but the writing on the wall doesn't look good. I've been applying for positions both internally at Humana and with other companies. The lack of communication from leadership has my entire team on egg shells.

I would stay as long as you have a job and it works for you. Losing 18,000 members may mean CMS reimbursement is not profitable enough for Humana to stay in this program . I wonder what the long term outlook really is for the entire HAH program.
