I've heard some serious mistakes were made in the November layoff selections. Now Follett is doing some damage control by eliminating people who were directly involved. Karma's a bitch isn't it.

Follett just hired a new HO director reporting to a director. Guess where the new director comes from? For all the cuts that have been made, not a single penny has been saved because of the HO bloat

But it still wasn't enough for Follett. The plan for next year is growth, growth, growth. Record profits aren't enough. They want more. They lay people off to save money, but waste it left and right.

To back up 6871 I know of a bunch of follett contracts that were lost because of one man's relentless pursuit to expose Follett's business practices...anyone who used to work in the St. Pete area might know what I am referring to.

FSS is being setup to fail next year. The expectations are unrealistic and guarantee failure which will cause bad feelings between divisions when the company doesn't make its goal again. Morale is low and anger is high.
