Call

Nick doesn't speak on financials. Doug says will answer few questions. Something is going on. Stay tuned. "everyone is aligned" though. Who says that on a call?? Declining production. Costs cuts coming.

Other Companies Layoffs

None of the energy companies listed below have pages on this board, so this makes me believe the competition is trying to smear Chesapeake's reputation? Hmmm.... - American Refining - Ashland - Basis Petroleum - Big Heart - Big West — read more

Haynesville

Sold for -$100MM. We will issue more stock to pay someone to take it. It actually costs money to operate & maintain, so this is actually a money maker.

Looking for another job because it's just a matter of time before this company goes under. Everyone was laid off from the Haynesville play and they can't even give it away for free. Major lawsuits are still ongoing. There is nothing now that can save... — read more

What is the bigger threat Layoffs or Bankruptcy?

This from the 2nd quarter report. "The borrowing bases of both credit facilities were re-affirmed in May 2019 with the next re-determination dates scheduled for the 2019 fourth quarter." If 3rd quarter reports come out with a large cash... — read more

Layoff planning has begun

I hear the EHS group is having offsite meetings. This happens every time departments are looking at their internal people and deciding who stays and who goes. They don’t want to risk others overhearing the meetings. I will be taking bets on the day... — read more

Can somebody explain to me why this company would exchange bonds for 241,000,000 shares yesterday? Is there something I’m missing?

Attitude Change is Needed

While most employees here are productive and work with a sharp pencil, some are toxic to the success of this organization. If you are unhappy and your main goal of the day is to spur ugly comments on social media, stop it and go somewhere else!

Sandridge Chk

I remember making fun of Sandridge for years when their stock price was cents on the dollar and holy c-ap I just now noticed that they are outperforming chk stock and I’m pretty sure they only have like 6 employees now. Dumpster fire.

After Devon, CHK Is next!

Word on the street is that chk is going to do a massive layoff related to recent news. The mystery buyer sounds too fishy. Why is there no SEC filing and all the stakeholders are left in the dark after the dilution of the shares?
