I couldn’t agree more. Totally over staffed.
Hey, you forgot to mention production engineers. The number of operated wells divided by 1500 is the maximum number of production engineers needed with one manager over all of them.
This site is b—s—. I love my job at Chesapeake. We know there will be massive staff reductions in the next 5 months but I am not losing any sleep over what is outside of my control. I was looking for a job when I found this one. If we cut enough people, maybe the company can survive long term which will be a big win for shareholders, myself included. From the operations side, we only need two drilling and two completions engineers for the entire company. Hard to justify any managers or VP’s for operations. I cannot speak for Land, Legal, Geology, Accounting but an educated guess is they are in same boat as operations.
