I had this problem and have heard Xerox employees have experienced erroneous checks with incorrect withholding and other issues. Resolution Has taken months. Mine has yet to be resolved and the error was over $1500. Just another Thorn.

Things have been messy here for a while now. I don't think there's a group of employees that has not been affected in some way - always negatively. Do you think that has spilled over to our customers?
