Thread regarding Xerox Corp. layoffs

Has anybody heard anything about July bonus?

I know we're supposed to be getting a 2% bonus in July. Is this really going to happen? Anyone heard anything?

Email sent out yesterday listing the dates for each country and who qualifies. You don't qualify if:

• Are not actively employed and working at the time of the payment of EIP unless such person is
eligible as provided under Appendix C.
• Participate in other incentive plans including plans with sales commissions
• Are W level (unless required by legislation).
• Were rebadged to HCL prior to July/August 2019 advance payment date, in case of 2% EIP advance payment and prior to balance payout date in Q1 2020, subject to company
performance.
• Are interns, contractors, students and/or temporary employees

TERMS AND CONDITIONS need to be met for your bonus...Where's the Participant Guide????

*The terms and conditions of EIP are set forth in the 2019 Employee Incentive Plan Participant Guide to be provided on the Hub at a later date. Implementation of EIP is subject to local labor laws and consultation requirements and excludes W levels, those with sales incentives/commissions, temporary employees, interns, students, and those on incentive plans still to be harmonized. Employees who received or will receive mandatory salary increases in 2019 will not be eligible for the 2% advanced payment of EIP. Additionally, employees in Global Delivery (including those currently part of XBS and DMO) will continue on their current compensation plans at this time and will transition to the appropriate plan design later in 2019. Employees must be employed by Xerox on the July 2019 payment delivery date in order to be eligible for the July 2019 payment.

It's not happening. They announced it before it was approved and current hr/payroll have no approvals for it. They must think everyone will forget.

The pay grades of A01, A02 A03 and A04 are typically used for field the technician with A04 being the specialist. The numeric value increases as the skill required to service the product increases.

From what I’ve been told. D04 is A Director level, D03 is Manager and “A” levels are Associates. I don’t know how accurate that is but that’s my understanding

@-3hlc - Thank you. I have found my "grade" and it is A03... any input on what that means? Is that higher in grade or lower per Xerox grading system? Do you have a way to find these grades and their meanings?

Our CFO says he received confirmation that the payment would be made on July 31st- i hope they don't tax it as a bonus. It doesn't come anywhere close to what my raise would have been.

Rumor is Q2 #s are way down and they may postpone or cancel.

Someone at our core wrote both payroll and the president asking about the bonus. The payroll person hadn't heard anything official. The president had no real information to offer, either. So... I guess we just wait. Originally, our president said the bonuses would be paid out July 1. And the email from Vas---ne said July.

Oh well. It's not like I'm waiting to retire because of that pittance.

D04 is an exempt position and the Field Service Manager is an example of this pay grade, some engineering positions are D03 /D04. The A04 is a non exempt position and the Field specialist is an example of this pay grade, their position can be CTIS / CSTS or PIJLE being an example. The payout will go to D04 positions and below one of these days.

Login to the Xerox portal /Xerox Gems (using your USG ID) and click on yourself (upper left corner) and then your employment Info. It will list your grade on this page so you will see if you are a D04 (I'm a A04, though I have no idea what that indicates).

Not sure what a D04, would be nice to know. our cores didn’t give us raises because they are under the impression we will get this mysterious bonus. The problem is communication. Either no one really knows or they know and don’t want to share the bad news. Don’t hold your breath is right.

XBS admin here... no 2% bonus on today's check for me either. Hold out hope for the 31st but do not hold your breath. *Remember the loop hole is, the bonus is for D04 employees. Does anyone know who exactly "D04" employees are?

Core tech here. No 2% bonus in my check today. Manager doesn’t have a clue as to what’s going on or if we are even going to get it. Really s—s because we aren’t getting a raise this year because we’re supposed to get this “bonus”. I have a feeling we won’t get a bonus or a raise. I’m going to need to get a second job to be able to afford to live

Only if you’re a D04 employee. Whoever that is.

“Our intent is to align incentive compensation for all employees across Xerox with our transformation. We currently have a variety of plans, including Global Delivery Plans, , Sales Compensation Plans and the Manager Incentive Plan, which was formerly referred to as the Annual Performance Incentive Program. Historically, there was no plan that incentivized employees at the D04 level and below who were not otherwise incentivized by an existing plan.

Today, that changes.

We are pleased to announce the launch of the Employee Incentive Plan (EIP), a new way for eligible employees at the D04 level and below to earn a cash-based bonus. Under EIP, eligible participants will have the opportunity to receive a 5% bonus target based on salary earnings.

It is critical to Xerox’s transformation that our workforce is aligned with our strategic initiatives and incentivized by the same metrics. Both EIP and MIP now are aligned to our 2019 company performance and metrics, which include Xerox Top Line Revenue (25%), Operating Margin (25%), Free Cash Flow (25%) and Non-Financial/Operational Metrics specific to each function (25%).

Because we have opted to introduce EIP as an alternative to annual raises this year, eligible participants will receive a 2% payment in July 2019, regardless of achievement of performance metrics, with the balance of the award to be paid out in March 2020, subject to company performance.*

Once we have 32,000 individuals incentivized to achieve our initiatives, just think about what we will do together.“

It was accrued for and it is supposed to go out in the last pay of July, but that hasn't been specifically been told to the HR leaders yet. At this point even many in senior leadership at the cores don't believe what Xerox tells them as different people are telling them different things. Ie the CFO gets instructions that are the exact opposite of the instructions given to HR, then it takes 2 weeks for Xerox to figure out which one is right.

Disagree. They are only paying if you are employed last day of the months, so will likely come in a separate payout. Might be mid aug

I fully expect it will be paid at the last possible time, like the last day of the month.
