Mgmt are control freaks

I wouldn’t mind if it was for the sake of efficiency and work results. It’s not, and never was, the best mgmt style, but I would tolerate it if it was about work. However, it’s not. It’s about exercising power, control issues, petty office politics... — read more

Testing Teams

FLIV and IT&V are useless. They aren't interested in collaborative Risk Management. They are interested in wielding control and failing teams. They are incompetent.

WAVE

Why are there issues with VDI every single day? It’s obviously a complete failure and they need to revert everyone back ASAP! So much time wasted on their so called work arounds.

Mr. Boss

So my Mr. Boss unfollowed me on social media on Monday. July 8. The following day (you guessed it-Tuesday after Payday)...I thought I was getting laid off or terminated. What I received was a verbal warning. Does that last 6 months? If I get laid... — read more

Building is pretty much empty every other week - lay us off already!!!!

Disgusting

I had a one on one with my boss for my mid year discussion. My boss made up many fake comments and hinting I will be on PIP.

Reviews are just a cover for selection at will

In exchange, work as little as possible, take as much as you can, and always search for other jobs. In this day and age it’s silly to try to prove yourself in a workplace. Hard-workers can be gone as fast and easy as someone acting as a beach goer... — read more

Stacked ranking

Remember folks, wells implements stacked ranking when it comes to review time. There will always be someone that has to take the hit with a bad review. Not everyone can be good! Which is obviously not true, but that's how it goes 🤷‍♂️

St. Louis closing E building announcement

Sol G announced yesterday in his town hall that they are essentially closing the E building in St. Louis in the next 3-6 months. Moving everyone out & will only be using 2 floors going forward. STL has 2.5 million sq foot of workspace & only needs... — read more

BS Mid-Year Reviews

Out of 6 reports, managers came up with 1 report as evidence to show my weakness that was also BS as someone pointed earlier artificial/fake review but let suppose that 1 was bad still I have done 5 projects/reports pretty well i.e approx 80% time I... — read more

In-office time tracking

Someone I know got fired because of time tracking. Is there a chance this is true or is somebody trolling?

WEC Winston-Salem Location

Any news as to when the WEC building will start layoffs for CB? NON core location and will eventually close.

RCSA

In at least one division, RCSA is being moved up a week, e.g. they have one week less to get work done. Itchy trigger finger for firings?

Relocation offer

Non-hub remote worker here. Got a relo offer. None of the tech locations appeal to me. Already applying elsewhere. Still have the better part of a month to tender my decision knowing that even if another company contacts me that they won't want to... — read more

Update

Was told to update my personal cell in workday by Mgr. who got a notification it wasn't updated. I'm remote but not in tech or anything. Standard update or definitely a sign?

Mid year review

Managers are going to use mid year review to remove people who are not part of their gangs.

Offshore / India Question - Writing on the wall?

Late last year my company began to hire India resources. At the same time we were mandated to create extremely detailed procedures/SOPs for everything we do. We've now aligned an India resource to each US team member to perform the same work. We... — read more

I expect WF to follow soon enough

Saw this article about how Amazon is no tracking time in office for their corporate employees. My guess is we will have something here sooner than we think.

Prima facie

Can’t wait for my midyear review because after 28 years they kicked my a-s because I had a surgery, but I know I have lawyers by my side. Prima facie, give me a bad review after 28 years when I had to do a surgery never had a bad review and 28... — read more

Wave 3 will be a big one

Wave 2 for core location strategy just happened and I was told by team leadership if you weren’t in wave 2, you will be in wave 3. Wave 4 is only special exception/projects. Was told wave 3 will likely be “early 2025”

Life after RCSA

What’s going to happen to all the employees that have been on the FST for RCSA?

Parental Leave and Layoff

Is anyone familiar with how WF has handled layoffs for employees on parental leave? The displacement/severance policy is opaque and the guidance I found is that they COULD give notice to someone on parental leave (start the 60 day notice period)... — read more
