The truth is no one knows. Those who do know like the managers delivering rifs usually find out just before it happens. The very few that have more advanced notice are not the types who spend time on a site like this.
In general in corp america layoffs never really stop. There are bigger ones and smaller ones, but they are rolling, ever present.
