Have seen several post regarding questions about severance payout. The specifics vary from country to country and the time he made to, but in the US payment is not paid on the normal pay cycle.

Has anyone received more than two months paid cobra or paid Dell health insurance?
Didn't happen paperwork turned in immediately and skipped pay cycle before payment was issued.
In the US it is aligned with the bi-weekly pay cycle but when it is is dependent when you get your signed paperwork returned to the company.
