Severance

Walmart, sams club should offer severance to anyone willing to leave their current position. I’d bet they would get a lot of tenured associates. Which in turn they would be able to hire more people per building.

Wireless is done

Wireless positions in Michigan just got told we are done anytime between July-October depending on when the 3rd party can start. After that, we have 60 days. We also have to train our replacements. Great place.

New hire orientation

Pain in the butt. If the associate misses a section filling out the forms or doesn’t check off all the safety boxes that were covered, associate has to refill out all the papers. Can’t just go in and update the one form. Hopefully they will fix this. — read more

Team Lead Positions

So the team lead positions are changing or will be changing at the end of summer, will we have to apply for these new positions? Does this include fresh Leads as well?

New hire orientation

All new hires will need an email address. As topics are covered they will electronically acknowledge. After Orientation is done, an email is sent to them with all their signed acknowledgements. Nice!!

On the wire new process to onboard new hires. 90 page onboard now down to 6 pages. Looks like they are going paperless, new system to sign documents. Club managers now involved with the process more than ever.
