Our cm basically asked everyone what they wanted to do here or with the company as if to gauge who should be forced to become pt or lay off. Thought it was a little odd.

Who in the hell wants to work for this company anymore. Fast Food pays more. Makes no difference if you do an outstanding job or just enough to get by you are still getting the same raise. The company relies on the ones that actually care when they first start then they realize how bad this company is to work for and they join everyone else. Who seen the 2 door greeters dancing. Its posted all over the wire. Apparently they dont realize there jobs will be cut sometime next year.

Remember to use the first 5 with 3 cashiers in any given shift, don’t mention we never have coverage in self checkout it’s a joke. This is what happens when you let go of tenure managers and bring in the younger generation. Old school asses out of office and on sales floor, newer generations set all day and hopes sh-- gets done. This is why clubs are looking like they do!

We are struggling with sales, profit, shrink, mtracks, etc. also. Turnover is very high. Company wants 60% of the club PT. Well most ( not saying all ) PT associates don't care, don't see a feature or career with Sam's. Let's be honest, new hires don't get trained properly, get frustrated and quit. In most areas it's hard to find good help because most know that we are very unstable, shutting down clubs, always cutting hours, letting good managers go because they have a couple of coachings ( "for improvement" - ya right! ) , do away with position and departments to cut cost, etc., etc.

Manny FT associates now ( not saying all ) are disgruntled, set in their ways, don't have open availability, sence of urgency, sence of ownership, motivation, or loyalty like past associates use to have. Times have changed. Results have changed.

the club i work at has been a lot slower then previous years but i guess thats a good thing because we are so under staffed there would be nobody to take care of the member ..morale is so low at our club i really believe big box stores are out dated because member service s---s and its easier and more convenient to buy products online
