Optical sales downward trend

Anyone else experience low sales volume since the changes in optical. Should there be concern?

Yes and the new lab s---s! We have more remakes than ever and unhappy members. orders coming in with the excess lens material not even cleaned off. Going from high index Zeiss and Nikon to what looks like straight up poly. New high index lenses no where near as thin as what we used to have. This is a bad deal for us and our members.

guess it may be time for third party to come in and show what can be done with what’s already in place, like cellphones did

When they rolled out the new optical changes, we we’re gonna be rolling in plus upgrades, so the members could save 20%, haven’t seen nothing yet joke is on front end again.

We are all down and they blame us. We are told sell more pair to offset the difference. Some genius in corporate decided to slash prices but not offset are budgets!!!!

Optical is going to a 3rd party by next year. Should be rolling out in test clubs by Q3. Not sure what clubs. Gonna try in northeast clubs.
