Wireless is done

Wireless positions in Michigan just got told we are done anytime between July-October depending on when the 3rd party can start. After that, we have 60 days. We also have to train our replacements. Great place.

We were told this also. I can tell you that people buying phones from this 3rd party are going to get ripped off.

So funny how the part timers have been already replaced in the club but they have nothing for me because they aren't hiring full time. I can't live on part time. They said we will do everything to help you but they have done nothing.

I was just informed of this change (6/8/2018) in our Dallas Texas Club today. I wasn't surprised, as I had found out about the pilot program several months ago on the Wire. I just didn't know how fast or company wide they were going to roll it out. They said I could change positions or take severance pay. There are a few points I would like to make about the options. First of all, if the position they offer you would result in a pay cut, you do NOT have to take a pay cut! If YOU choose to step down to a lower paying position, yes. But if they eliminate the position, NO! Stand up for yourself on this one because I know a lot of people who have believed what they were told. Second of all, if they do offer you a position and you decide not to take it, you can't decide to quit and then take severance pay. "If you are offered (a) comparable job within the company and decline the new position, you are not eligible for severance." As soon as the guy told me that "changes were coming to wireless" I told HIM what they what going to be, because I already knew. As a LONG time associate, I would like to think I know what I am talking about or at least believe that this information is correct. Now it's time to weigh my options and see what positions the offer me. Good luck to everyone that finds themselves in the position.

Don't care just going to move asap have to look out for myself now. Don't care about training the new people since I was barely trained anyway. They make more so they should have more resources. Got to look out for myself now that's all that matters to me.

First off if you can find an open spot. Second who wants to go or can afford to go from full time to part time. Morally? Smh

We were told the same. I hope your team sticks together and does not train the replacements. We all need to stick together and defend what is morally right.
