Is it open season on older employees once again?

What's the average age of laid off employees this time around? Usually, it's a lot of 50-somethings and above and a few 20-somethings added to make it seem like there's no age discrimination going on. I don't know many who were affected so far so I... — read more

What about Wednesday?

Will there be more layoffs tomorrow? Some people are saying that layoffs will last Tuesday through Friday and others are saying Tuesday and Friday so I'm not sure what to expect tomorrow.

I have never been through this before. I have my severance offer in writing and some other helpful documents, however I have to sign a severance agreement that won’t be sent until next week. Does anyone know what is generally in a severance... — read more

Do we have a running list?

I saw some names of directors/senior directors in a different post. Not sure it’s ok to name names here, but if people have them, please post them. Sometimes it’s hard to keep in track and we don’t hear about are friends until weeks and months... — read more

This will be a long day

What an unfortunate time to choose to do something like this. Just goes to show how little those at the top care about employees and how something like this can affect our families.

Do we have any details?

How many will be laid off? What will be hit? Anything other than just there'll be layoffs tomorrow?

Reorg this week - Details?

Rumor has been there is a reorg this week. Anyone have any information on who will be impacted? When the announcements will come?

Many of you are only thinking in your own world

First off, the bad characters that took advantage during the pandemic made us all look bad, and unfortunately caused this corporate decision. Flexibility should be the future. Many daycare facilities closed down and now it’s much more expensive... — read more

December layoffs

Is Nike known for having end-of-the-year layoffs? I started this year so I don't know how it works yet, but my last company always laid off during the second week of December. I hope the same is not true here.

5 day work week.

Can’t say how I know - but a 5 day in person work week will be announced in June. I’ll save my own personal ramblings and just say this - it was nice knowing you, Nike.

Christmas List

Instead of talking about the warn list, let’s talk about our Christmas list. What should be on our list for JD this year?

Warn list

Nike is showing up on the WARN list. It’s showing (1500) with no date? Anyone know anything?

You deserve better

We all deserve better than what Nike's been giving us lately. I'm surprised attrition is not much worse than it is.

The odd thing about the latest backdoor scandal.

We need more transparency

I shouldn't be finding out there were layoffs within the company on an anonymous board. We should be hearing that from our leadership. The secrecy is destroying the little faith we might have left in those on the top. Not to mention, it's affecting... — read more

When will JDs Layoff Happen?

Did JD make the cut or get impacted? I want to know because his $32m salary would probably mean no one, NO ONE WOULD BE IMPACTED EXCEPT FOR HIM. Call me old school, but shouldn’t he be the first one gone? Fk around and not do what you said you were... — read more

Leaving

I am starting to reconsider my desire about staying. The work is drab, the money I get has nowhere to be spent. No nightclubs or bowling alleys, no places of recreation except the trade union dances. I have had enough.
