Just look at what Mikey has done to Couldn't See Clearly and Cannot Slice Chops. However Don't Xpect Compensation only applies to plebs everywhere outside of his level.

ML is a master at manipulating stock prices. He knows how to take good companies and squeeze every last drop of life out of them until the stock prices inflate. He then can cash out along with the shareholders right before the bottom falls out. The board and the shareholders only care about stock price and he has a proven formula for delivering in this area. You mistakenly assume that company value is about the services and products a company delivers and that is just not true in business. We all know that Mikey's businesses are worth nothing when it comes to delivering, but worth tons when it comes to jacking up stock price at the expense of employees, products, and services. The shareholders will follow him to the next company to follow the same formula to cash out in the short term.
While we see a pile a flaming sh## in the wake of ML, the shareholders see profits and quick money. That is the fundamental problem in business today. Businesses are run by Wall Street, not by people who worked they way up in the company from the ground floor and care about employees, products and reputation. If you want something different, go work for a private company or a nonprofit. You have budget challenges with those companies, but at least people have some concern for the product or service they are delivering. Gordon Gecko (a.k.a. ML) will always live by the motto that Greed is Good!
