Ford has too many older workforce

Comparing to other companies, Ford has 75% os the workforce are over 50 years old. Tesla has 90% of the workforce under 30 years old. This is why Ford is very inefficient and unproductive, not innovative.

Freep article. 20 years ago we were teaching Chinese the art of making cars. Everything had to be done with a JV. They learned everything they needed and now they are thriving globally. Why can’t the article point out this simple fact?

They’ll cut you without a second thought if it helps the quarterly report. The younger folks get it, they make sure they leave before the axe falls. Can’t say I blame them. I wish I’d learned that sooner.
