@OP. I am aware of only one LL4, one LL5, and one LL6. The LL4 we knew it for months. LL5 and LL6 was "last minute". So yes, it seems something is coming...
If it can be done in front of a computer, its days are numbered. If you don't believe that have fun slow rolling into obsolescence. Learn to solder, work on robots, something with your hands that requires dexterity because even though its moving fast - it will be 20+ years before we trust robots to do anything really important.
Is this including H1B visa holders? If so, good riddance
