For those of us waiting for the inevitable layoff. Would anyone from yesterday's round be willing to share the general details of their severence offer? It will be anonymous as per the terms of this site, but any information would be appreciated.

There were layoffs in TEXAS FOR former spectra employees. At least 35 of them in compressor stations. They were not allowed to return to there desk and walked out. Most of these ppl had between 20-30yrs of service. Why did Enbridge buy spectra?... — read more

Enbridge acquired Spectra to compete with Transcanada. Here is the news flash Transcanada’s stock price has always been consistent with minimal layoffs. Enbridge is run by bunch of inefficient and inexperienced management.

We don’t want to pay their pensions. Warning to younger employees: Al will find a way to take your pensions away too. He’s already been chipping away at them.

Everyone should do themselves a favor and go work at any of the other pipeline companies. Or UNIONIZE because Monaco will keep cutting and screwing over the people that make the company run.

I question the intelligence of the people who put this monster in charge. There must have been signs of his instability, even before power got to his head. He has ruined this company.
