What has happened to transparency and respect for employees at EGD? What a watered down, sugar coated fluff piece. No real explanation for management nothing about what was changed just an asterisk on the bottom of the actual scorecard and minus 13%. And they wonder why morale is shot. Not even enough respect for employees to tell them what it actual is. No wonder there is no trust of senior leaders.

EGD had the highest payout in the company and you are still whining? I bet most of the whining is coming from the guy that has been doing the same job for years. Meanwhile other folks are working almost double to keep up with restructering and due to laid off colleauges and taking much smaller stip.
They did the exact same thing last year!

Can you imagine Al ever adjusting it upwards?
Lol, you worked exceptionality hard but market forces outside of your control lowered results, so I'm adjusting upward. If ever!

EGD’s scorecard result was 142% but after a “management adjustment” the result used for STIP was 129%. The other utility and power scorecards were also adjusted down. How can employees trust leadership when they set a scorecard and then when the results are met/exceeded they arbitrarily adjust the results. They care only about shareholders. Why even have scorecards if you are going to adjust them after the fact because the results were too good.
Minus 13%?!?
I also worked hard, had amazing results and was rated high. The compensation adjustment did not meet my expectations. I am now looking into other companies. Way to go HR.
I think we should cut Al some slack. He’s actually a pretty sweet guy when you get to know him.
I feel your pain!
I am one of the coveted 3% who were rated exceptional.
I worked hard and had a great year.
My STIP was pretty good, but my merit, it s---s!
Top 3% in the company and my merit is less than half the rate of inflation.
Thanks, Al!
