All organisation is impacted

My all global organization was impacted. The one that was taking care of employees' well-being. I was laid off a second time in 6 months( was rehired to a new position previously). It's time to move and don't come back.

Here's my separation package

My last day of employment is 2 months from today on April 15. Then 4 months of pay (80% of total comp). I"'m in sales so commission plays a factor in my total comp. Plus 4 months of Cobra. So in total, it's a 6-month package.

You should start looking for a new job ASAP, if you have any skills. There are many useless engineers and managers at Cisco and I never figured out how they kept their jobs during my years at Cisco. I worked at Cisco for 16 years and finally was... — read more

Will App D be effected

Do you think folks at app d need to be worried? The numbers look great for observability. Is that Cisco’s high growth area focus?

Best option for Cisco is sell itself to broadcom

No one cares about Cisco business models. It's same cr@p everywhere, same products everyone else have except 3 times more expensive. Cisco not able to innovate anything, no one would be interested in buying into Cisco except probably broadcom.

Cisco should cut salaries instead of jobs

Focus on innovation Getting into cloud business I sent mail to all ELT members including CEO Cisco should stop giving mid term RSUs and hikes until market recovers. This what NVIDIA , apple and many other companies are doing and remaining all... — read more

Cisco lost the focus on the relevant things

Unfortunately, Cisco is focusing more and more on useless topics such as "diversity & inclusion" instead of shaping the organization efficiently for the future. There are too many useless manager positions, which a lot seem to be created only to... — read more

Cisco's best days are gone years ago

We have become a joke in Silicon Valley. The executives get fatter (both financially and in their waist lines) driving the company into the ground. There does not seem to be any accountability for this kind of performance. Why is Chuck Robbins... — read more

Why is ELT is not transparent?

Employees were told by accepting the shutdown the week of July 4th would significantly help lower the number of those impacted. ELT never attached a number when feeding us that garbage. July 4th shutdown never was going to save any jobs. Shutdown... — read more
