Just got word about the massive SE layoffs. There aren’t enough openings at AWS, VMW and Arista for all of us.

Word has it that red badges in our group that are not in a direct support role will be impacted in the July-end LR... heard they were consolidating down to one or two vendor options only.

The ones that were mentioned a few weeks ago that are supposed to happen at the end of this month?

What’s the point if we are all leaving on our own. 4 months with Cisco is all I could stomach. I can’t believe the majority here are scared sh–less of being dumped by this dinosaur of a company.

News about Hiring freeze turned out to be true, I am worried about layoffs if it's bound to happen, how much time do I have before the announcement? It is bit easier in the job market to negotiate a deal with job at hand.

Hearing there is good salary hike across the board. Looks like the company is really doing good and has transformed into the new era. Love to be part of Cisco.

I'm 27. Cisco hired me out of college. I'm a grade 10. Make over 125k a year. Friends are jealous. Cisco has been nothing but a great time for me. Work hard you get rewarded. I've had white and Indian managers. Both are cool.
