New Testing Regime

Switching to lab tests in Feb. I presume the intent here is to require more expensive testing before transitioning from company-supplied to employee-supplied to coerce compliance? We shall see.

CEO Town Hall Posted

Now available on Wells Fargo On Demand, unedited with cult comments and all.

Most insane story I’ve read about us….

I was surfing the interwebs to see if anyone leaked the $hht show today and stumbled upon this gem. I’ve never read such a crazy story about wells and know it has nothing to do with layoffs. Had to share. You’re welcome!... — read more

45K New Hires

Did we hear that right in the CEO Town Hall? What are all these hires going to do?

Corporate Risk

Good thing we get those follow up reminders on how to click a link to get a meeting invite. We are not children, stop treating us this way.

Being and employee and a Relator at the same time

I’ve been Wells Fargo going on 19 years… With all the chaos going on the last couple years I decided to get my real estate license more as a back up. I’ve yet to use it despite several opportunities because I know it’s against the COE unless you’re... — read more

“Cult” team member v employee

Anyone listening to Charlie. Just stated coming to WF was cultish due to the term team member and being a team member is not inclusive and more of a sports reference. It was a horrible rant and very unprofessional.

Money CAN buy happiness

I was miserable at work for years with minimal raises, horrible bosses, a toxic environment, and everything else we have to deal with on daily basis. I was ready to leave. Then six months ago I got a promotion with a huge bump in pay. I still have a... — read more

For those of you that normally get your paycheck Wednesday night, have you received yours? I’m wondering if it will be delayed due to the holiday.

Covid sick days?

How is it that we don’t have extra sick days due to covid? People are working with covid from home which isn’t efficient and other people have to half watch their kids and work at the same time. No one wants to take PTO to be sick.

Bonus when transferring?

I've read the plan document about this but it's still unclear to me. If someone transfers from one job to another within WF midyear, and both jobs are bonus eligible, how does that work for the payout? This is assuming the old bonus targets (which I... — read more

Remote is not the answer

It will ensure we lose our jobs to cheaper labor from overseas. Let's face it, we can get into the office, and they can not! Be careful what you wish for because you just might get it, and then be on the street.

When is the next employee survey?

We need to ask this question at every town hall or all hands meetings. Time to force the question and give leadership our thoughts at all levels how things are being run. My guess is they will not be positive.

Why is leadership not worried?

From what I can see, attrition has never been worse. We don't have time to backfill positions before more people walk away. I only have anecdotal evidence, but it's hard to believe that my team and location are for some reason different than the rest... — read more

BORING!

Anyone got any insight to when the firings will start? Is everything on hold until 2/4? If so, how soon after that does the axe start to swing?

Retention Bonuses

These need to start or attrition will continue. The FAs are older - get a clue they want a final huge check before they retire to set up their retirement home.

This says it all

Warren Buffett missed out on $10 billion in gains by dumping Wells Fargo stock — but he probably doesn't regret cashing out "Given the numerous controversies clouding Wells Fargo's outlook, Buffett might be happy to have cut ties at a cost of $10... — read more

Offer me proper pay, damn it!

Why are banks still lowballing people when we all know they're desperate for employees? I want to leave WFC more than I can say, but the pay I'm being offered is a joke. If you're wondering why there are so many people on this forum complaining but... — read more
