Has there ever been anyone as awful as this guy? Amazing he just raised his own salary while screwing us all over.

Pay question
I know that someone had posted awhile back on this topic but I can’t seem to find it. I currently make $9,000 less than the minimum listed for my role. How is that allowed? Isn’t the “minimum” just that? The “minimum”? With the job architecture I... — read more

Just curious if it’s the same laptop for everyone? Standard version.
Friday Open Thread: Your thoughts on RTO
What do you think about RTO on this lovely Friday
In our department Attrition is Up due to RTO and Management is Concerned
We were asked informally how we feel about it. I suspect they are having trouble filling all of the open positions because we are not competitive due to RTO. So net-net we're losing existing employees with RTO specifically cited as the reason, and... — read more
Thinking of applying...mortgage servicing side
Hi there. Yes, I have read the posts about many issues with upper management and it's a bit discerning, but it's not sunshine and rainbows where I work either. Always dodging layoffs where tenure does not matter. Management is happy with me not being... — read more
“RTO has been a success so far”
Was on an unrelated (to rto) call yesterday and the head of our group at the end asked about rto so my ears pricked up. One of his directs said 99% of ppl have been in at least 2 days thus far and 96% have been in for 2 days min. Said he checked... — read more
People like this is why I didn't want to go back to the office
I wear an N95 mask which I replace with a new one halfway through my day to protect myself and in turn protect my wife who is in a high-risk group due to her asthma. We managed to go this long without catching COVID-19 and I'll do my best to keep it... — read more

Where do all the young people (22-29) work?
As the title says, looking for what BG/EFs and specific departments young people work? I currently work in COO with a bunch of oldies and no one ever wants to get beers or lunch.
Did you or will you have a back to the office party?
Or at least have some food an fun things for all on your first day back?
My performance is about the same since I went back to the office
It's only been a week since I went back to the office. There were a normal amount of people in, but the change of the space in which I work definitely was not that noticeable to me. The usual number of distractions, acceptable chairs, and the smell... — read more
More layoffs coming next quarter.
SFTE numbers are in. Multiple layoffs now planned. Many branches to lose service managers and going to a one manager model with less tellers and bankers requirements to spend 40% of time on teller line.
Sorry Charlie but we're in the middle of a War - United we stand, divided we fall
We need to reduce fuel consumption as much as possible and help the people of Ukraine. Just say NO to RTO.
Mike Gillot AMA
He was asked how he liked RTO and talked about 6 days, 3 different offices, traveling to Charlotte, then Manhattan. How he enjoys wearing a collared shirt and has relaxing downtime while commuting. Such a hollow statement. Must be nice to travel on... — read more
WF has a record number of IT jobs posted
Interpret that information how you will, to me it speaks volumes.
What if the US and India were at war?
What if the US and India did not have relations due to war or other circumstances. Could Wells Fargo operate?
Today is 3/24 - Any layoffs?
It was supposed to be a layoff day. Any news?
My performance has improved since I went back to the office

Seeking HR Perspectives
To all the HR folks out there who are denying valid and reasonable medical accommodations and location change requests, how do you get through the day knowing you are negatively impacting people’s lives? How?
Why did I even bother going?
Five people. That's it. Only five people on my entire floor. There was no "much-needed, productivity-rising, in-person collaboration" the leadership keeps yammering about. We said hi and then everybody did their own thing. If I had any doubts about... — read more
The pay here sucks now

COVID 5 day stay at home

How has your productivity/bureaucracy ratio changed since the consent orders were issued?
For me, the ratio was like 90% productivity to 10% bureaucracy. Today the inverse is true. The majority of my days, and I'm not even kidding, is now spent attending meetings and paper pushing.

401K Robbery
No 401k match until end of year. Means we’re missing out on a lot of gains from our company match. Don’t get me started in the 401k maintenance fee we now have to also pay.
