"It's nothing personal"

I truly hope the next person to tell me layoffs are "nothing personal" so we shouldn't blame the company is laid off the following day. I'm tired of a-s-kissers who keep defending WFC over things that are undefendable. No, we don't need this many... — read more

5 days a week RTO on the horizon?

I was told by my boss that I should be prepared for Wells to return to 5 days a week expectations. They didn't say when or if it would be company-wide, but that was the indication they got from their boss. Anyone else hear that?

Anyone

Looking into getting a job at Wells Fargo, think again. I’m sure you’re here trying to get a feeling of what it’s like and let me tell you—it’s miserable. We hate each other and the office. Get a remote job as if you’re life depended on it. God... — read more

This!

They just laid off hundreds of sales, including top performers. WF will never be successful when they keep hiring entry level processors. Processors are the key to smooth transactions. Most processors here don't understand what a loan is, much less a... — read more

Just looking for feedback/thoughts on this organization led by Shaun McDougall. Any thoughts on the strategic direction? Positives/negatives?

Cognitive Dissonance

How do you deal with the cognitive dissonance here ? Everything is upside down; good workers get punished or abused, bad workers get no repercussions, and the list goes on. Unequal treatment in RTO, etc. Gossip to tear down a contributor but... — read more

Double srandards

So mortgage processors are displaced because they do not live within 40 miles of one of the four hub locations due to RTO coming. Yet the processing managers all are still here living out of state. Please explain how this works when we all go back... — read more

Who makes the cut?

On a team where only one employee is displaced, how do they decide which employee?

There's never a pause

Once again I get to reset my sign that reads "It has been ___ days since the last layoff at Wells Fargo." to zero. I put it up as a joke with a coworker about a year ago, but it stopped being funny a while ago. I don't remember the last time the... — read more

Severance Clarification Needed

So I was laid off today which was expected and looking over the severance documents, it doesn't state anything as to what happens if you get a new job during your 60 day non-working notice. I start a new job in a few weeks and was wondering how they... — read more

Heard layoffs in May will be larger than the ones today- anyone hear this and know which business lines will be impacted?

Jobs no bueno but $165k/yr ain't too shabby

I add very little value to the organization, but (apparently) lots of value to my boss. I really serve no customers, but handle a lot of emails for my boss. My biggest value seems to be the fact that my boss looks to me as one of the few on his... — read more

Des Moines

WF needs to axe this location. There are way too many silos here.

Auto loan underwriter layoffs

Will I get fired if I can’t RTO?

If I have a documented medical disability and cannot return to office when it’s time, will I get fired for it? I was planning on talking to my manager about requesting an accommodation but I wasn’t sure if I would be allowed to do that. I don’t want... — read more

Productivity

Upvote this post if you would deliberately be more productive working from home, full time? Since WF is too afraid to ask the question themselves I just decided to take matters into my own hands.

Auto Lay Off

I worked in auto as an underwriter and just received a phone call today that I've been laid off.
