Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Fck Corporate Amercia and all the A-Holes Who Work In It!

This board is just a glimpse of the state of morale, relations and mood of people who work in and deal with Corporate America. It's a joke!

From DEI hypocrisy. jerking people around, constant threat of layoffs, ZERO commitment to employees, and constant fines and litigation payouts, and more, it's surprising some of these employers even have any talent left. It's time for another Great Resignation and a giant F U to employers who treat their people like schitt.

They all want you to sign an offer letter that says it's employment at will, there is no contract, you're not guaranteed a job for any period of time, they can fire you without cause, etc. just to sell your god dammed soul to these sc-mbags for a job that mostly likely sucks! Then, when you quit, or interview for a different company or role, one of the first questions you often get asked by some low IQ recruiter (who I wouldn't hire to clean out my garage) is why did you leave your last employer?! Does anyone else find the hypocrisy in this besides me?! If you want people to sign an OL that says its employment at will and they can terminate without reason or cause, then it goes both ways and I don't owe anyone a reason or explanation why I quit or left! And when you ask that, you go to the bottom of the list of companies I want to consider working for! These companies and their LOW IQ recruiters (who job hop every year, just look some up on LinkedIn, they change jobs annually!) thinkl they're owed something, some explanation for why you made a god dammed decision to leave somewhere that you worked (worked your guts out at) at 8, 10, 20 years and got dikked around at and were finally sick of it!

Again, FCK CORPORATE AMERICA!

Its the price we pay for a comfortable life. I for one do not like "the firm" but continue to work here because the pay is great and the work isn't horrible. It's like this in most every other company out there these days. There is no loyalty or care on both sides. I love my house and the life this job provides...and realize I have to put up with a boat load of b.s. from "the firm" to allow for that.
Could I live with less? (a LOT less) Absolutely, but for now I choose to continue to suck it up and ride the p-o tsunami wave. As long as they don't force me to violate my morals or beliefs (they are getting close with the woke/DEI cr-p) I will work here for as long as they'll allow.

It is impossible to single out Corporate America, the sheer complexity of all the secular mechanisms we are defaulted to from birth to death is mind boggling.

Not trying to say we shouldn't try and make a better world, but the truth is everyone plays their part and has to sacrifice something to get something. Corporate America jobs are plentiful and offer a decent compensation package. By operating at scale, corporations reach more lives all around. WF doesn't demand our very best, the pay us to fill a seat and do maybe average work. That is good enough. Sad right?

If you aren't working in those jobs, you are working much much harder physically (alpacas!) and/or working more hours. This is ok and can be quite fulfilling despite less money (most likely).

Either way we all are screwed. If you dislike your job at WF as much as I do and it takes some effort each day to start by not crying, play the game. Act/Become the victor and you will find empowerment in how to approach things after WF.

There is no one right way to handle adversity, yet time and time again we find that dwelling in a circle of he-l is bad news. Channel that energy wasted at complaining or finding enemies and use that momentum towards something positive in life.

Good to see the post, airing out the dirty laundry. Now the healing begins.
