No layoffs

Best quarter since Jan 2019. NO LAYOFFS coming None!!!!!

UP did excellent in 1Q earnings

Earnings beat all estimates. Although most of the dates were pre-coronavirus. This should tell you that the non agreement hour reductions are nothing more than testing the waters to run with less management. Sad for employees but good for... — read more

The quarterly numbers

Well we are getting close to finding out just how much “damage” the covid19 virus did (PSR/Unified2020 plan caused most of the issues and those who actually are on the ground know this ship was sinking before the virus hit). Lets see how Lance and... — read more

Non-Agreement Cuts

If your departments’ performance doesn’t go down during this “RULA” then UP will cut jobs from your department. This is a test. You’re getting paid 25% less. Do not cover or work harder.

Remember this is not Vena’s first rodeo.

Foremen and FG’s did their dirty work to make everything go under the promise that they were safe while shredding the boots on the ground. Then the one’s that survived and were “promoted” now get an “awesome amount of forced vacation”. If the place... — read more

Got another one

Got another director buying up stock to the tune of 15,000 shares for 2.1million at $138.20 a share. Bet ole jimbo is not too thrilled someone else got in under what he paid. Looks like Delaneys attempt to bump/pump the stock up didn’t do much... — read more

Government stimulus money

Did UP end up taking any of the government stimulus money being handed out recently and if so how much. Should be interesting to see if they did and if there was a no cutting jobs stipulation how they wiggle out of it when they do the next lay-off... — read more

West Colton Car Department

Rumor has it that a few higher ups in Omaha are looking to turn WCT into a flat switch yard before end of the year. There have been secret visits from Vena the past few months and he and some of the upper echelons of Blackrock are ready to make some... — read more

Covid and PSR

Fritz and Vena couldnt be happier about the current situation. This is allowing them to dump all the customers that weren't quite profitable enough for their greed. It also absolves them from taking responsibility for it. UP can blame the virus for... — read more

Manager Dump

Now that they've promoted the ARASA Foremen to Managers, watch the dump of Mechanical Car & Loco Managers. They'll find out just how pitiful & weak some of the Managers that were already in place are. There won't be any place to bump either. Let the... — read more

North Platte Mechanical Managers are id--ts

Starting April 1st we now have managers instead of the ARASA craft leading the way. Over 1/2 of the managers don’t have a clue. I have been out here 19 years and this is the worst morale has ever been. On April 10th manager BB pulled a machinists out... — read more

So NS stock is doing better then UP

Wonder how the stock holders are handling that little gem. At the moment NS is sitting at $155 and change a share and good ole UP is at $149 and change. And they’ve been implementing the PSR Ponzi scheme recently as well.
