Has anyone seen the memo with the “undertime” process?
Once again, the company has took something very simple and over engineered it. They are going to allow you to take an unpaid day off when it’s convenient for them.
- Turn in a list of days you’re willing to take off to local chairman.
- The company will look ahead and see when they can let people take off and notify LC . (Minimum of 24hrs in advance.).
- LC will backfill available lay-off day with the list.
I’ve never once seen a shop manager who could look ahead further than 8hrs.
What if three people want a day off but only one lay off available?
What if two people request day off and one has already previously taken day and other hasn’t?
There are way too many variables left unanswered.
