USB Intranet Home Page - Stock Missing

I just noticed that the stock information is missing on the intranet home page. Anyone else notice this? Has it been missing for a while? I normally don’t pay attention to it very often but went to check it today.

Has anyone been made to work from home?

I'm in a small team of 8 and we were sent to work from home when previously in office due to making room for other larger departments at the hub. Curious if anyone else has had this happen and if we should be worried?

Alliance team - layoffs incoming?

State Farm deposit accounts don't seem to be doing well - balances are lower on average, and going down. Uncertainty everywhere - leadership changes their mind about five times a week. Layoffs when?

Inspecting Home Offices???

https://www.forbes.com/sites/jackkelly/2024/06/03/banks-brokerage-firms-return-to-office/ One of the reasons for the RTO edict is that new regulations from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority—a self-regulatory agency—now require the home... — read more

Some of you all need to get a grip

SOOO much bad information here. Look, we have ~70,000 employees. If it's true from another thread that USB is laying off ~11,000 employees in 2024. Based on that number above, that means ~59,000 people are still going to be around. It's not like... — read more

July Layoffs

What layoffs does U.S. Bank have in store for July? Anyone hear of anything?

I was laid off recently

Took my severance, gave banking a long hard look, and decided to completely change industry. Oh boy, and what a good decision it was. Went nonprofit. I’m paid less, but what I get can’t be paid in money. Work is meaningful, colleagues are great, work... — read more

Public Service Announcement

Remember to pay attention to which posts get removed. Those are the ones that management doesn't want you to see. If they are worth the time it takes to send a threatening email, then they be saying something that is worth suppressing.

USBank does not care about their employees

All this best place to work and how much they care about their employees are lies. The leaders are from McKinsey and they use McKinsey as consultants . They even said if anyone wants to know who made the RTO decision, AC said it was him , Elcio, and... — read more

Made it Another Month

As a hated fully remote employee not anywhere near a HUB or client center, I'm here to report I've made it through another month without getting the ax. From what I'm reading on here about US Bank following the Wells model in dumping eventually all... — read more

USBIF layoffs?

Heard that they would layoff in huge numbers here in next five months. Is this correct?

What about Risk?

I’ve heard there is going to be some major layoffs there. Has anyone else heard that? I know that area is very bloated, especially higher grade levels.

Tim Welsh

Just announced will be leaving USB, remaining through July and then serving in advisory position through October.

Head Hunted

I’ve received about 3 messages from a recruiter for US Bank. Keep it brutally honest, I left Wells Fargo when I heard rumors of chainsaw Charlie laying off, and a year later my branch was closed down and not everyone was able to transfer to the... — read more

I don't feel motivated anymore

Layoffs are one thing, but the endless outsourcing and focus on AI makes it REALLY hard to think my role matters anymore or what the future looks like. Anyone else?

Spreading Group

Evidently Corporate and Commercial spreading is moving to India. I guess spreaders in USA are ongoing to oversee their work for a period of time. I think I saw a movie about this. They must be paying them some sort of bonus to stick around while... — read more

TTUS Survey

Funny how it's not being shared in meetings like it used to be....

What’s the latest on layoffs?

And pls, guys, provide info if you can - dept, no. of people, etc. We all have just bits and pieces of information and not a general picture. Is it true that WFH people are affected disproportionately? I wish us all luck.

Tell us your department

I know people tend to live in their own world and don't realize all of the different segments of this company, but please realize how big the audience is. Are you in Commercial banking? If so on the credit, sales (RM), back office, TOS, etc.? Same... — read more

My HSA posted today, Juneteeth. No matches that happen semi annually. Is this supposed to post this pay period or next?

Layoffs today

Well I know that my team lost one person. They are here until 7/26. Our manger just read from a script, zero emotions or care involved regarding our team member. He was more annoyed that he had to interrupt his vacation to notify us.

EXECS in office?

I'm not in a hub, but wondering if AC and is minions are back in the office 3 days a week?

Company no longer allowing floating holidays

I work in TOS, and our manager told us they were informed that the company is no longer allowing floating holidays nor are we allowed to work on a holiday (ex. President's Day) in exchange for a different day off. Throw in the company's anti-vacation... — read more

Useless managers

Who else here reports into useless senior management who know nothing about the subject matter of the department they are in charge of and also have little to no emotional intelligence in regard to their employees. I do.
