Resignation timing to get bonus?

If AIP discussions are scheduled by March 3, and payout is around March 10th, what day should a 2-week resignation letter be submitted in order to get the full bonus check without penalty?

RTO

The RTO that is ridiculous. Unless you are client facing, how productive is sitting in your car for hours a day. We merged 2 banks from our homes. That said. EL will just say find another job, because they would rather bear the cost of training a... — read more

Glassdoor Ratings

Why is it Truist has lower ratings on Glassdoor relative to other banks? Is the employee experience that much worse? Curious what others have to say.

Another one gone

Deputy Chief Risk Officer Mo Ramani didn’t stay long after being passed over by Bender as Starnes replacement. A number of people were passed over to bring him in as Starnes future replacement and then bootlicker Brad got the job over him. The... — read more

CTO Outsourcing

Any truth to the rumors of Accenture taking over more groups in CTO?

A change in leadership has no bearing on us

Whatever happens in the future, we are still going to be exposed to bad management, overworked, and treated like numbers. There will be layoffs and reorgs. There will be different attrition tactics. Cost-cutting, inflating stock prices, and... — read more

Beau departure - Sale of Truist

Beau’s departure is the first step in selling Truist later this year. Bill will announce his retirement by June. Inevitably Truist will be sold by end of year. The sale of TIH along with resignations of C Suite and Board members are all major red... — read more

Beau leaving

What does this mean for Truist? Is more layoffs in the near future a rumor?

Audit Favorites

Audit is only hiring their favorites from their past organization and no one else has a chance. Rules are bent to get them in. I cannot believe how blatant it is. Do not waste your time applying, they already know who they are hiring.

ATL WCD moving to the Battery

Thoughts on the movement of CIB, CRE, and structured credit teams moving from downtown ATL to the battery? Seems like it punishes those who chose to live close to the existing office. The battery isn’t even inside the perimeter.

RTO = Soft Layoff

There is no evidence that RTO improves metrics or the culture. All the empirical studies show the opposite.

Pension

Many teammates received an email announcing we would be pension eligible starting Jan 1, 2025. This probably means pension will not be eliminated if they are expanding this benefit to new teammates.

Unexpected Holiday Bonus

I was pleasantly surprised to get a very nice bonus in my account yesterday. I asked my manager and he said it was a holiday bonus as a token of thanks for our hard work this year. Awesome!

Unrealistic expectations

There is a lot of pressure to meet unrealistic goals. We all work very hard to at least come close, and many of us spend too much time in the office. And yet we are regularly treated as if we are expendable, and there are no symbolic nor tangible... — read more

A flawed approach

Promoting good employees is obviously cheaper and more effective than constantly replacing them with new hires - a five-year-old could figure that out. On top of that, promoting su-k-ups who can’t do their jobs is a total waste of resources. Yet... — read more
