@as That's exactly what I thought. Reminds me of the ice cream question from last year's town hall where they laid off a bunch of essential people. Honestly I think she just throws those in those tone deaf questions to ki-l time and distract from the fact that the company really does not care about it's workers or current team members that have to take on 2-3 times the work now. Wearing a branded shirt saying "Mission Simplify" after laying off a bunch of people is just psychotic. Good to see their really amping things up in terms of callousness when it comes to these layoffs.

Today's AZ townhall was disappointing. I personally submitted several questions and none were answered, such a coward. Couldn't even answer is there more layoffs coming questions. Where is the transparency all you leaders are bragging about? Do better Mr. Stover to all of us who bust our butts every day.

Pretty much everything they say these days is tone deaf.

how about the cringe factor in using your kids inability to manage a lock on a locker as some charming anecdote? the whole thing was cringe, unrelatable and offensive when there's more work, no extra pay, just an expectation of gratitude for not being simplified YET. if you can't teach your kid how to use a combo lock maybe you shouldn't lead a fortune 500 or fortune 19 whatever success they are celebrating this week

I think she was just trying to make small talk. One thing that did stand out to me was the patch on SL shirt that says Mission Simplify. It feels so tone deaf that so many people lost their jobs or took the VSP and she is flashing this stupid mission on her shirt.

It’s extremely thoughtless and lacks empathy, compassion, all of it.
