Not sure what counts as "normal" but "doing more with less" is the dominant ideology no matter where you go. Unfortunately, AI is the only thing saving (and ironically, contributing to) any sort of profit margin for any company due to the absolute wreck of an economy we have.
This is normal. This isn't isolated to any one payer.

You mean "Back to normal" where Centene is sued by 18 states over Medicaid dr-g overbilling? Securities Fraud? Consumer Fraud? Wage Violations? Cybersecurity fraud? Misappropriated funds for political campaigns? Retirement payment fraud? Ghost networks? We are still fleecing America every day just like normal. You all should feel very proud of your lovely Centene.
