Thread regarding PayPal layoffs

@a2 Yes, paypal is definitely undervalued and their good employees deserve better. However, once the world realized the same clowns who ran the company into the ground will STILL remain in charge, most people had enough. I sold my shares after holding for 7 years and moved the money to better run companies to hopefully recoup my 15% haircut on paypal. It is a vote against management, not the good folks who did nothing wrong.

@a6 i think you’re right in that he gets paid more based on sale price. It will probably take a few more years to reach anything meaningful. I don’t think he can successfully run this company for two years.

@a2 I thought that was kinda expected based on how his packages was structured. He has more incentives rejecting and keep going to hit those price targets.

We haven’t stopped getting downgrades for the past two days. Enrique can’t seem to do anything right and truly wondering what the board was thinking.

@a1 he denied an offer from Stripe for over $60 a share just to take the share price back to the low $40’s so they could buy even cheaper.

I don’t think so. You’re watching the slowest “turnaround” in modern history of corporate America. Enrique is a geriatric mo--n so I don’t even think he knows how many people work at PayPal.
