I’d like to know the severance proccess from start to finish. Who has been through the proccess? My club manager has offered it to me, but is not very open to questions.

I’d like to hear the full proccess that people went trough for severance. I was offered it last week as an overnight associate. Want to make sure I don’t miss anything. Local club manager is not very helpful. Thanks everyone!

It appears they are revaluating the fresh team lead block scheduling. Too many produce and prepared leads are not accepting the schedule offered. If more do the same it might actually get changed.

So why can a fresh associate (bakery dept) have every Sunday off even though that is considered a busy day but a freeze cooler/deli associate are told they had to be here EVERY Friday, Saturday and Sunday. How fair is that?

My club manager hasn't talked to any PT associates yet so nobody has any idea what our schedule will look like in the future. Rumor had it we will all be made to work mid shifts, but does anyone know what that shift will be?

I certainly hope managers and club managers are subjected to the same restriction of neither weekend day off for eternity without PTO. Seems fair to practice what you preach as a good change.

Jewelry lead, accounting, and comp shopper all eliminated with no severance offered!! No severance offered because it's just restructuring positions. Unfair!!! They will never have to pay severance again unless a club closes!!

Found out today that if you work part time, the company has structured it so part timers will NEVER qualify for a Sam’s share.

If we choose to step down to part time instead of taking the offered FT schedule, I know we get to keep our base pay.. the question is, does anyone know what benefits we lose going to PT? Do we lose our medical insurance?
