I’d like to know the severance proccess from start to finish.
Who has been through the proccess?
My club manager has offered it to me, but is not very open to questions.

Pull the severance policy and guidelines. Make sure you qualify and read over the stipulations. The formula is years of service x average hours worked for 12 weeks x hourly wage. Don’t stay it will only get worse!
Your last week or your last day your CM will go in and complete a form in which you will chose to have your packet info emailed to you or sent through us mail. (Email is quickest) severance is your rate of pay × weekly avg hrs (for last 12 wks) × full yrs of service. If you been there 20 & 1/2 yrs you get credit for 20. If you're under 39 you have 15 days to accept & rtn packet. If you're over 39 you have 45 days to do the same. Severance is paid out on regular walmart/Sam's pay periods. It can take as few as 3 or up to 6 weeks to receive payout depending on how quickly you sign and return your agreement, again email method is quickest.
