387 open positions today

Isn't it fantastic after Paul ruined over 500 families that today there are nearly 400 open positions at RJ. I have not heard from anyone since my layoff regarding any job. It is sad they did not approach anyone (that I am aware of), and the... — read more

Contacted by former peer with a question....

So it's been over 9 months since I was let go by RJ. Last week out of the blue I got a text message from a former peer that is still at RJ. They didn't ask how I was or how are things or is there anything I can do for you (not that I need... — read more

guess everyone is moving on. It is hard

just spent a half hour reading through all these posts. I had told myself I wouldn't do it but for my own peace of mind I did since I've been so depressed. I was one of those 550 last September and my entire world has been turned upside down. I... — read more

Paul must be feeling good about himself

Isn't it great to see that Paul just bought another company. I believe this is the 3rd since last September when he changed the lives of 550 people forever with the a layoff that wasn't needed. He not only caused lifechanging impacts to these... — read more

Investors must have their blinders on

I can't understand why RJ stock is so high. If anyone did any digging they would see that the application environment is held together with bailing wire and tooth picks. It's a house of cards. I hear management is terrified about doing a disaster... — read more

Had to take what I could

I just accepted a position outside of finance. It’s not my dream job (at my age does one even exist anymore?) but it does have decent pay and benefits. I begin next week and am actually looking forward to it. It’s WFH and while the position is... — read more

how is everyone doing?

Guess things have settled down as far as posting here goes. Hoping that some of those that were laid off can give us an update on how they are doing? It would also be interesting to hear from some still at RJ and letting us know how things... — read more

Open Enrollment?

I received a package from Taben regarding our Cobra open enrollment. From what I can tell, as long as there are no changes, no action is needed. My understanding is that RJ is paying for Cobra for the 2021 calendar year, although payment coupons... — read more

Watch out for - thank you Raymond James

Just got my taxes done. Even with RJ taking 20% out of my severance I ended up owing money. Many thought the severance was fair some don't realize that with the severance dollars applying to 2020 income many of us were pushed into a higher tax... — read more

Did anyone get their 401K contribution for 2020?

The last time there was an employer contribution was 1/27/2020 which was for the 2019 calendar year. Shouldn't the people that were laid off get a contribution for 2020 (should have received it around 1/27/2021)?

Guess this is it for us

I think this website is sponsored by big corporations as a way for ex-employees to vent a bit and then quietly go away. I see that the posts and replies have gone down to a trickle. I suspect this is for the best for those of us that were let go. ... — read more

RJ selectively calling back associates

Poor Paul and Bella get a pay cut

Did you read about Paul Reilly's and Bella's pay cut yesterday. RJ announced that Paul's pay is getting cut 17% and Bella received a 10.5% cut. How sad to hear this. At least they still have a job. Why, why didn't RJ just institute pay cuts... — read more
