Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

Nothing will change

It's amusing reading all this speculation when we all know deep down that nothing will change. The same thing that always happens will happen again. We'll see more layoffs, more outsourcing, more "do more with less" rhetoric, and more of the same for employees. Nobody gives a damn about us or improving our situation, least of all any CEO.

@dhI think they are contracted for 4 or 5 years. They got to keep a job. Yes, agree about severance definitely not fair. But they are right still they are safer and one less worry right now and have time to look for other jobs if need be.

@dh that is truly unfair. Employees who were rebadged should have been entitled to severance as part of that transition.

@b6 LOL why is that? Their contracts will be suddenly up... and no severance provided since they are new to being contractors... Sounds like they are going to get it worst.

Corporate America is ultimately driven by profit, but it was the genuinely caring individuals who made those environments tolerable. Now, with managers who show little concern for their people, things have started to deteriorate.

I felt bad for everyone rebadged to Infinite but in reality they dont have to worry about layoffs or deal with any of this.
