So , we are confirmed to have a layoff by looking at Satish email. I am confused with his email whether he is leaving ally or moving to a different role.

After being layed off in a different round on the outside looking in it really su-ks seeing how great Ally was before Rhodes.. Brown was a much better leader really sad seeing the direction they are taking.
@yr I know what happened to a certain individual. It had a lot to do with EEOC and employee treatment. Every so often they go out of control, Ally HR always sides with the offending EC/LC member and never with the victim. Federal employment judges soon remind them that they don't own anyone. They become a multi million $ liability and they have to go.
@yt IT spending wasn't the issue.
Overspending on AI was the problem. Why did we need our own internal tool? Is that technically IT? Sure. But it's the more specific issue.
@yq and let me clear. I'm NOT a sathish(you got to get the h right.. I've been scolded many times in that) m. Fan. His "if you have a minute" super cringe ESPECIALLY the early ones in Arizona where he shows a beautiful skyline when we were all locked down. Sathish was never a good pick. But either was Nans.. or ARVY for that fact. He spent WAY to much money on IT and never understood how the business makes money. But while I wish this happened sooner. I can't rejoice in this because it's a sign of what is to come. Good luck "allies" hold on to your boots.
@ac except the email which I have screen shot of. Literally names Spencer to take over. And if you been there as long as me that should tell you something. Should tell you alot actually. Also what happened to Di? Asking for a friend.
@a2 Except there were those of us in a meeting with him where he candidly shared there was nothing "next"this was not voluntary. You all need to Google Rhodes and TD bank.
He is corrupt, so he is getting his comeuppance. Only one more remains—the one calling himself "Recreational Vehicle"—and his date of reckoning will be announced shortly.
He’s being asked nicely to leave by leadership. Same thing they did with other leaders over the past 2 years. They either move them to some BS role hoping they quit or just tell them to leave and that they’ll get paid out.
I love how they don't even bother promoting someone to CTO internally. I guess things also work same up above
Leaving. Has been known in executive leadership dor sometime now.
The Satish email doesn't confirm anything other than he is leaving
I read it as he's leaving Ally but will help train his replacement or Spencer (interim leader) in the meantime.
