Oracle recently merged support (ACS) and managed cloud services (MCS). Any ideas why? I heard they are now reporting on-premises support revenue as cloud revenue. That would explain this odd merger.

No major layoffs this past week, total since 6/1/2016 remains at 23,686. End of FY coming up in a few weeks could well result in many more layoffs and changes. Keep looking folks, keep looking, the labor market is still going strong.
