Now get ready for your workload to double because there's no way in he-l they'll be backfilling any of these positions, not even with cheaper, younger employees.

Simple answer: not enough (if any). Most of them are useless and nobody would even notice if they were gone. But expecting layoffs to make sense is expecting too much, apparently.
