So all managers in tech apparently got an email from MD describing how to apply for "in job promotions". Although the items on the list might seem fair, if you put them all together (which is the requirement), that list is just absurd!

I do remember that @s9!! Hilarious...
@s9 that's how it was actually pronounced
Remember when AC would pronounce his name “Rot Knocker”, like almost passive aggressively. I giggled every time.
Lower standards have a higher probability of success
@af "not" engaging in fraud or kickbacks shouldn't be the fu--ing bar.
what are the requirements? budget and what else
It isn’t an option unless you apply budget for it. Sure you can promote a report, if you axe another one of yours first.
You are complaining that promotions are possible now??? Nike employees really are the whiniest
I mean she could just say cool no promotions and people would complain about that too. How’s that for you? Nothing is ever going to make people happy.
The requirements were entirely fair when I read them, and it’s a pilot program. Perhaps negative feedback should be enough to halt promotions. People should be grateful. I’m not a big fan of MD, but at least she’s doing what she said and trying where no other leaders have done this at Nike. She’s definitely better than those before her.
Bring back the RAT...
Can someone share this email?
@af smells like a troll
Why is FTEs always complain about anything MD does.
She is a step up from prior few leaders in that role
