Don't know much about NetApp E-Series, are they still around?
Happy Holidays you are fired
Laying people off even with severance is cold during the Holidays. Most of those laid off won't get any serious offers and interviews till mid/end January. Heads up life does exist after NetApp.
Bootlickers were not spared this time
The left over boot lickers were not spared this time. It was a joy to see them be put in their place. If they got sacked it was because the provide no value to the company.

I don't know why I even bother
I'm over NetApp. It's draining to keep pushing myself when it feels like my manager's never satisfied, no matter how good my work is. And it's good—other people see it and comment on it all the time. But when you're not in the "favorites club," it... — read more

Why is CHRO going after 9 months?
Onshore NetApp will be offshored to death
That’s the strategy, and each one of us can expect to be affected sooner than later.
This layoff is very disturbing
It seems that who you are actually matters as so far of the 10 people I know who were laid off, 100% were 30s-50s, white males. A small sample I know but wow, if that was the criteria used, good luck to all for the future.
NetApp is a meat grinder
No matter who you are or how much security you think you have, you really don’t.
Are layoffs still going on?
